Marques is the Man to Catch in the $500,000 Gtd High Roller

Brazil’s Adriano Dias Marques is the man to catch in the WPTDeepStacks #07 High Roller where only 31 players have managed to play their way into the $5,200 final phase on October 24. Marques has 2,278,498 chips, the only player to have broken through the two million barrier.

The Closer is the tournament for you if you want to end the WPTDeepStack festival with some big bounty action. Costing $320 and having $300,000 guaranteed, the Closer awards you at least $150 for each opponent you eliminate.

Alexander Petrov of Russia is the chip leader going into Day 2. Petrov has 1,801,855 chips in his stack, and has already banked $562.50 worth of bounty payments, so is freerolling towards one of the bigger payouts.

We have to doff our cap to Lewis Hunter. The British grinder is currently third in chips with 1,589,021 chips, but he has $1,050 worth of bounty payments already in his partypoker account thanks to eliminating eight opponents during his Day 1.
